Hi Stevo
I second Bluesummer's post
1) The people that mock you are the losers
2) If someone doesn't like you, that's their problem
3) Do whatever it is you love to do, and enjoy it
4) Don't change yourself to impress people
5) Smiles and friendliness go a lot further than attitude or being anti social
I must say, self confidence and self esteem are very very important especially in your age group. It's very easy to get down on things, but at the end of the day that shouldn't affect your self perception. You should be able to look at that mirror and be proud of who you are. You should be able to say "I am so glad I am me and not someone else". This is where your journey begins. How do you achieve that? Start working towards becoming the person you really see your self as, start strengthening your self confidence and strenghtening your image. Start working on yourself. Doing physical work for example like going to the gym or cycling 5km per day will give you extra strength and energy. Developing a more positive outlook on life like laughing at yourself when others are laughing at you will help you win some friends and popularity. Everything goes hand in hand, once you are happy with the person you are, before you know it, you will have new friends and recieve that much anticipated attention from the opposite sex.
There was once a time back in High School when i felt the same way as you do. I wish I could go back in time and give myself this advice...
Hope above helps... Good Luck!!!
