Mmm, all I have to say, if it's not gonna be secret, do it infront of her friends. Might be scary, but don't think, if they tease you or her, it's a good thing. ;-)
She probably likes you, don't wait for her to like someone else. If she dosen't, then hey, you guys can always be good friends.
