Hi, a recent chain of events with a certain girl led me to this site. I posted a summary of the last few months of my life spent with her. It was a long post, but I needed to get it off my chest.

I'm a 28 year old guy living here and about a year ago, I began what I considered a "starting over". I haven't really made any close friends since then. I've come close but noone that I really let get too close.

Conditioned as a child and later conditioned by myself not to express emotions other than the simplest ones, I have had a hard time making close friends. I've been working on it, but find that I still struggle.

I feel better after I write down something that is on my mind, so I decided to do that. This time though, I posted it online to get some different perspective from others.

I also have intentions of offering any advice, words, or support to anyone who I am able to do so for.
