im sorry for invading your forum so hostile like..but i have met suicidal people *my friends and others* becuase they felt they had no love in their life when in fact they had people who loved them so much they were willing to do anything

The love that we are talking about *true love* is purely spiritual, although it has many ways of manifesting itself, yes..love can show itself through hugs and kisses..and even sex. Though niether are love, and love requires neither.

So..what is love? First off..love is NOT necessarily something you find. It's something you give freely for no reason at all other than to love someone.

Stop crying yourself to sleep because you have no 'love life'. Love your parents, love your friends, love your pets, and God if you believe in him. It doesnt matter if those people love you or not, it doesnt matter if you feel loved. Love is like a present. Its not what you recieve thats important, its what you gave. And people who dont give out presents dont deserve any. But those who recieve nothing need it the most.

In otherwords..love even those who dont love you. Who knows..maybe someone will realize that you love them..and theyre compelled to love you.

But......if that person so happens to be someone youre not sexually attracted to...do not reject their love.

If TRULLY you are searching for true love. Then you have achieved your goal by simply making a best friend. Happy now? If you love your best friend you will be!!! And try to imagine..what would happen if your best friend died..or..worse..Got Married..and forgot you. You should be hurt. Becuase true love will hurt. And best friends can be the truest of lovers. And anyone can be your best friend: your mother, your old friend, your sexual partner, or even God.

True love can exist in ANY relationship. Married couples..mother and son..father and daughter..best friends..cousins..boyfriends and girlfriends...God and you..or even you and your pet dog.

We need to realize you can have more love in your life...as a single..compared to a married couple!

If you want Love in your life, than love everyone and anyone. Love is not about one sexual partner.

Love is not about sex. Although while..some people like to have sex to show they love eachother..Love is NOT about sex.

To anyone who doesnt care or agree with what i just, espeically you christians..May you fall in love with a simple nonsexual friend. To afraid to say you love them, so Taboo to give a friend loving gifts on valentines. "I love you" wasnt made for friends in this society . May you watch them slowly forget you and fade away from your life, as they get Married..and slowly care for only their sexual lover "what are friends for, right?"

And may you never stop loving that friend..even when they forgot who you were. With no hatred towards them for forgetting you..you'll be there for them when they need you most. Even if they dont realize they need you, anyone can need your love.

When you can do this..then you know..and have found True Love."
