maybe it depends on how close you are to the person you're speaking with. for me, between my close friends, my gf, and my mom...if they inquire, i'll always gladly tell them what i'm up to. and they do the same. shoot...my gf will call me up sometimes and just rattle off what she's been up to the entire day just because she likes to share her life with me even when she's not around me that day.
