Imagine what MLK would have to say to bold faced frauds like Jesse Jackson whose only goal is political and personal gain.
What saddens me just as much as the loss of MLK is the loss of his progress and his work. He drempt that "black kids and white kids could hold hands together." Go to a High School in South Central and tell me how close to reality this "dream" has become, and then ask yourself why this is.
wow cy, i didn't know you had this in you
the truth is, i think the perception of black people is misunderstood. we see them potrayed as bad people on tv ALL the time...
no matter what you say, we've come a long way as a society...
...back then, it wasn't acceptable for a black person to walk into certain resteraunts, and today, this type of behavior would be HARSHLY condemed, - we have ZERO tollerence for this behavior...
If MLK were alive today, I'm SURE he would continue his work and goal of his 'dream', he was that kind of person...
...we've come a long way, but it's clear there are parts of America that are STILL asleep...........
