Your story reminds me of something similar, although not in the "breaking-up-with-the-cheating-slut" category.

A friend of mine called me one morning and said he wanted us to meet. He sounded urgent so I find a public place where we could stroll around without strangers hearing all the story.

He looked ravaged, like he had seen open hell. He told me that he had gone the previous night to this party and drunk enough to feel cool and get all the attention. He didn't recall everything about what he had done there; that's not the problem, we've done that at least a couple of times. Now the problem was he got himself a girl he apparently promised to marry and she moved in with him (lucky her, she was from out of town and had no place to live). He asked me to do something about it.

Okay, I said, go back to your job, think of anything else, and let me handle it. He gave me the key to his apartment and that was all for the morning.

Later on, I went to his place, let myself in and checked the place out. The problem was really serious by now: not only he had gotten himself a future bride, she also had her sister moved in and both girls were now living in my friend's apartment.

Unacceptable! I don't know if any of you ever got in such a mess, party one night (he wasn't sure whether they had sex or not but I guess from what I knew my friend it hadn't happened) and the next morning you have a bride and her sister confortably accomodated in your home, so it may look unbelievable.

Anyway, I acted like I was the guy she was married to for several years, and yes, tonight is the family reunion. What family? Well, THIS family -- the door bell rang, and there they were (all friends of mine and partners in acting): pa, ma, bros, sis, kuz'nz, everyone coming in to congratulate the couple for the baby. What baby? OUR baby, darling, what wrong with you? Go fix us dinner. And have your sister help you with the food and drinks.

We all acted weird and in less than two hours, the girls packed up and left, not before everyone in the room tried to convince them to stay and not to break this happy family especially when the baby was on the way. WHAT BABY?! Your baby, darling....

By the time my friend came back from work, the place was clean, everyone gone and dusted. He asked what I had done. Nothing, I said, she just changed her mind and left.

Crazy bastard! I owe you one.

He still does.
