Enterprise, I am not one of those people who believe that males and females can TRULY be friends (unless one is gay) because an element of sexual tension always creeps in at some point, and one ought not feel sexual tension with a friend.

That being said, I think you should tell this girl you like her and want to date her. She will either accept you or reject you at that point, and then you can have some resolution one way or the other.
