I know it sounds really stupid and cheesy to ask, but thats kind of how I was brought up, not really talking about these things or going to dances or out like a lot of people seem to do when they're teenagers so going out and meeting people in this way is sort of new and I don't really know where you cross the line. I mean some people seem to hop from bf/gf to the next, never seeming to be without on because they can just approach people. I know you have to but then again I hate coming across too forward because it seems like a turn off to me.. Lot to learn.. All in the fun of it I suppose 
I was brought up exactly the same way, and I've always felt uncomfortable having to deal with situations involving girls I was attracted to.
