How is a pierced ear a huge responsibility?? All I ever did was pull it out once in a while, soak the earing in a cap of alcohol, and stick it back in. I was 14 when I first pierced mine. Of course I did it myself with an ice cube and a needle (tell that boy of yours to be a man! Wait...be a man about piercing his ear...perhaps that's a slight contradiction), and my mother didn't find out until it was too late.
