We had our ups and downs, and though she could be volatile at times she was and still is a really great person. The end of our relationship certainly was not on good terms, but all things considered I think she was one of the best first relationships I could've had. She gave me so much, I have so many incredibly fond memories... VERY hesitant to call it LOVE, but still VERY nice.

We started talking normally/being friendly and reconciled a few months after we broke up, and have since become close friends again. She actually gives me romance advice on a regular basis, lol. I'm glad for her, she's with a guy she really *loves* now, in a way beyond all her high school relationships.

Now the task is to find a second person worth kissing who thinks the same of me...

Seems to me your first kiss, first relationship, probably first love, etc are all just special if they really meant something to you. Something that can't be captured again. Sure it might be better with someone else... but its not your FIRST.
