Precisely. Likewise for that article that GS mentions that I asked for the link for (I want it for its amusement factor, not b/c I think the data is real). That was for men, this one for women. Thank you for being the only one to 'get' this.

OV, I'm just worried for you in using some of the stuff GS mentions. A lot of it reeks of misrepresentation & manipulation & outright meanness. I just don't see how all these superficial Psych games get you to that place w/someone who has any depth to them.

The reason this stuff seems superficial to me is that it may only 'get your foot in the door' and only with a certain type of woman (often shallow sounding, based on GS examples anyway). This has some value I suppose, for gaining experience, but it won't work women who keep their 'interest buttons' in a non-standard location (my experience from college & I found this stuff incredibly boring & trivial to figure). And I have a feeling that the type of girl you might to settle on won't be found in a bar. Have you considered that GS posts this stuff so that guys like you end up looking like assholes & he can move in to look like a 'nice guy', in comparison? Just an alternative hypothesis to consider. Nothing I've ever seen from GS explains how to develop a solid LTR & all his posts seem to do w/the bar scene. Not exactly a prime technique for a guy who will be bored to tears by anyone w/an IQ under 130 who won't primarily be found trolling in bars.

GS will have a motive in posting all this stuff. I doubt its to help his fellow man 'get the girl', so figure that out before you take all this too much to heart. And find out how many of these guys who use this technique actually end up happily married (if that's your ultimate goal).
