It is good that he is honest with you - but he sounds like a player sort of person and you seem to be the type of person who wants to settle with her one special man.
So, you could either forget him and let him have fun as he doesn't seem ready to commit to one person just yet
or you can, as others have said, compete with the other girls to become his number one.
If after a couple of months he still hasn't made you his top lady, then I'd leave him be.
