This poem is a Thank You note. But, it can be interpreted in TWO ways, and only the person who it's for will truly understand the meaning behind it... either it's a genuine thank you note, or it's the complete opposite... sarcasm to an extreme.

Thank you for being there
when I needed you most
a true friend you are
it's why i thank you
thank you
the darkest of my days
that's what i told you
yet you were always there
whenever i needed you
so thank you
you helped me through
with your kindness
and selfless

for helping me through
that's what friends do
you're there to see me through
good times and bad
and that's why i thank you
so thank you
if i ask too much
them i'm sorry
i'm in need of help
i know you worry
so thank you
but that's what friends do
when i'm feeling down
it's you that's always around
so thank you for being there
whenever i ask you to

and if you feel upset
or you feel a little down
then take a minute to pause
and remember the time i thanked you
