You kind of sound like me, except with a lot more money. My ex was kind of the some way, it's almost like she expected nice things. She never told me to buy her stuff, but it was kind of expected and it was awkward if I didn't. Me being just like you I kind of gave in and well I did it because I didn't want to lose her.
