| People make decisions based on judgment every day. To pretend that you should never make any judgements is to revoke your intelligence.
Intelligence tells me that it is a bad idea to make close friendships with people who are disloyal and lack character. You shouldn't play with snakes and expect them to purr like kitty cats.
Your friend hurts people. Right now, it wasn't you, but you can never be sure you won't be next because your friend is disloyal to the people who are supposed to matter. To recognize this is to accept the reality of this situation. Do you really have to wait around and become the victim in order to make a judgement about bad behavior?
