hahaha... i guess you don't see too many asian people where you are located at. being in hawaii, we are the melting pot of our nation. we have every asian culture, and a lot of it i might add. i can easily tell the difference between a korean, chinese, or japanese person for that matter just by looking at them. when you take language or culture into play, it only makes it that much easier to tell them apart. but i won't complain because i think that all black people look alike and the same goes for whites. i couldn't tell apart a canadian from a german if my life depended on it.

it's also funny that you talk about japanese females being portrayed in the media because you're only basing that on stereotype. i'd say a good 30% of my family is from japan, including my mother. to answer your question, i have been to japan many of times... stopped over in korea, and i never want to go to china.
