| Thanks for the kind words of support people. I find alot of comfort from the fact that when the chips are down, and the people you love the most hurt you so profoundly, that there is something in the human spirit that wants to help complete strangers on the other side of the world that you wouldn't know if you passed them in the street! Don't be too sad Pears, life is too short for that. Thanks too to Gigabitch (so not!) Mishanya, Indie and others that have taken time to care. You have all shown compassion for the greater good, which instills in me the faith that people are intrinsically good and it is the situations that they let themselves get in which casts the shadow. Buddah was not wrong when he said for every action.... Got a txt first thing this morning that the wifes father had been rushed in to hospital overnight. He has a history of heart trouble and it was thought to be a reoccurance of this. I said what anybody else would and that if she needed anything I would be there for her. She thanked me, saying if it was serious she wanted me at the hospital with her, and that it had made her "sit up and think" I initially saw a positive coming out of a grave situation, as usual reading everything from just a few words. It transpired he wasn't as bad as beleived at first (it wasn't his heart) and with that I got a "thanks for being there" via txt, to which I didn't reply. Getting stronger. |
