Sounds like she might like you! I tell you if a guy I wasn't interested in threw a ball at me I'd be angry, I wouldn't smile! And if she's smart like you, then thats good because at least you're on the same intellectual level as her. My advice would be to ask her on a date? If she says no, you have lost nothing, if yes, then yay!!
