If she's having trouble with her gag reflex, I've heard that having the person performing oral sex press their tongue against the roof of their mouth (when you're nearing climax) will prevent gagging to some extent. I've never heard feedback on that solution so I can't offer you an estimate on how effective (or ineffective) the tongue barrier is at preventing discomfort.
