"It" by Stephen King? I've read that psycho gibberish along with other dysfunctional novelsby King. My mom is an absolute fan, so we've got a whole collection back at home. I wouldn't say "It" was that great, but I absolutely loved "Firestarter", "Carrie" (did Stephen have a misfortunate experience with Jehovah's Witnesses?), "The Shining", "Misery" and a bunch of other psychedelic short stories. Most of these I read when I was significantly younger, about 13-14, so I'll have a lot to discuss with my future psychologist.

Actually, my mom has three master's degrees and is the biggest bookworm in the world. (It's true that Russian women are the most literate people in the world.) So ever since I learned to read, I've been forced to read classic literature. What I don't understand is how the heck did I end up with Guy De Maupassant's "Une Vie" (A Woman's Life) and "Mon Cher Ami" when I was only 12?!
