in the state of alabama 16 is the legal age of consent, it is in many states though a lot of people think it is 18. I don't understand the big deal, I don't think you are that much more mature between 15-18 maybe you are but I have met many 16 year olds that were just as mature, I personally believe that the age of consent should be at least 16 across the board.
