I don't think anybody was 'afraid' to respond, they just didn't feel like it. Afterall there's dozens of these 'what should I do' threads made every day. In any case. At first I assumed she was your girlfriend, but it looks like it's just some friend you have whom you come to 'love'. And if you're not spending that much time with her pulling an "I love you" just might be the thing to scare her away. I don't see what you're so confused about.
