From a guy... It's a legit question, but one that's almost impossible to answer in my honest opinion. People find that magical chemistry with whomever they find it with. We all have our 'type' I guess, but it just happens when it happens, all race issues aside.

I say go for it. You find someone attractive, just say hello and ask.
