oh man... just from reading your story i can tell that you're really down right now... i'm not so good on giving out great and wise advice as i'm only 18 and i dont have enough dating experience and i'm a guy, so i dont really want to sound too "soft"

My step dad is in the same position as you as he's in a divorce process with my mom and i can tell that he's so lonely at the moment.

I think that you should keep being positive in all the things that you do right now, whether it's work or waiting for the right woman... becoz being positive will lead to a happier you and that'll make your life a little better. Be patient, women are sensitive people... they tend to keep their old memories with them... trust me, my mom has divorced twice and she still think about her previous husbands and how she had so many good times with them so go slowy with them.

You will find the right person sooner or later... so be patient. I know what i said is not much but that's all i can think of at the moment so good luck!
