I wouldn't pay any attention to what my friends said either. Most guys other than me, from what i've seen, wouldn't be stupid enough to follow what others say. As time goes on, younger people become a little wiser with each generation.

You can't blame him if he thinks twice about it though, he's in a harder position than you'd think. But in the end, he shouldn't care what his friends think. I wouldn't either.
