well back to the friend's situation. i would tell my friend and he can take it however he wants to. he is a grown man and it's up to him to decide what he wants to do with his life.

how about if that's your close friend ? and he has actually been going out with her , so he rather knows what he's sayin and pretends to protect you from being hurt?
