diesel.. i think that you shouldn't really have to worry. i would think that your friend is looking out for your best intesions. he's probably not trying to hurt your relationship, but being that he already got burned by this girl once before, he wouldn't want the same thing to happen to you. remember if you get burned, he will say that he told you so, but just tell him that you wanted to learn things the hard way. you never know, just take a chance.
