| I think the "morning after pill" is only effective right away and prevents implantation of the embryo. I think if she is pregnant, it is probably too late. And I hate to be the one to point this out, but YOU don't really have much of a say about abortion being an option unless your state specifically states that paternal consent is required. In most places, it is the woman's right to decide whether or not to abort. Let's just hope you are on the same page about abortion as an option.
Another person on this board has given you bad info about adoption by suggesting that because you may/may not be pregnant, you ought to suck it up and keep the baby despite your young age. This sounds punitive to me, and all babies deserve to have responsible, mature, financially stable parents when they are born. I don't think most kids your age can offer that, and it is an act of love, generosity and selflessness that puts the babies needs above your own. (However, if you CAN offer the baby these things, that is a different story.) |
