Love has always been screened from its real meaning.
Before u die for someone, perhaps you should question if its possession, sex, lust, love or infactuation.

if its geniunely love, then perhaps one should die for it, but till now, i've never attained that degree of love.

I would go farther and say, not only would I die for my loved ones, but I would give up my place in heaven if it meant seeing them there. An eternity in heaven is Hell to me anyway without those I love. Maybe that's just my overly dramatic way of wanting to die for a cause or person or something though.
