I get rather annoyed when I come here and see people posting useless information in order to get their sig links advertised. I know the mods work hard to remove spammers, but I have a suggestions to make it easier. I think that before someone can actually use the signature feature, they should have 50 posts and be a member for at least 14 days. Spammers won't really waste their time with it if that happened.

Also, I want to suggest that after 10 minutes, threads can't be deleted.

No worries, we can always undelete a thread.

Mods can even see the regretted posts people try to hide.

I like the idea of the signature deal, though.

I LOVE it, Cain. That's a cool idea. I wonder how difficult that would be to do.

yeah, if you really wanna delete a post, just edit it to say something completely meaningless.

Hopefully you don't get quoted

I hope they listen to you this time. I never have any luck with my ideas.

i just delete those people without warning usually. it's probably wrong but i don't care.

The idea wouldn't be hard to do. There should be settings in the admin panel, and even if there aren't, vbulletin.org has mods which is where I'm sure LA has gone for the mods he has so far.

If I was loveadmin, I'd take off some of the ads too.

At least they don't try to squeeze their ass into the middle of a thread anymore.

Oh god. Don't look at mine. Usually I start spouting all kinds of vitriolic nonsense and immediately after I post it I scrap it in shame.

That's basically what I used to do, wasn't generally so much vitriol, but definitely lots of nonsense.

He needs the ads in order to make a little bit of money off this site to keep it running.

Though, I think he'd be better off handling the advertising himself and not using Google AdSense.

You seem to know a little more than the average person about the internet.

Wow, Kiechi actually truly money to the website? Props to him. I'm completely oblivious to any such deeds.

yeah i dunno where that option is anymore. however, before there was a link that allowed you to see who donated money to this site. i think there was a total of 3 people altogether.

I'd donate money too... I don't really have much to donate though.

I'd imagine that there is a decent profitable amount from ads, given that we have so much traffic.
