hi, my friend. She was a good friend way before my real estage sent me a letter of apology. About how she has not made time with me to go out a date. She has been busy with work and home and other drama. I am in no hurry to go out with her on a date. I want to say something to her that will be a sweet letter of comfort to her about me understanding. She wrote sorry several times in the letter. and now she has to worry about me for a future date. I was thinking of writing a letter to her saying, "michelle, take your time and do your work." Steve.

As i am writing this, i realize that if she wanted to do something with me, then she would plan something out. She is a good friend. I do not want to appear needy to her in the letter, nor do i want to make her think she has to do something with me. But, i think these games have to stop. She is bombarded all the time by people asking her to do things. I want to be different from the rest.
any thoughts, thanks in advance.

Acknowledge that she's busy, but make your own fun plans and invite her along.

Provided they aren't for some outrageous hour, she'll be able to make room in her schedule to meet up with you (if she's interested), and if not, you'll still be having a good time anyway.

ok let me get this straight. you are good friends with her and she's a busy person. ok, i got that part, now secondly, did you already ask her on a date?? i'm going to guess yes, because of this letter of apology.

Actually, she is the one who initiated the date/activity. I just hate the fact that I made myself to availble to her. I don't think she is teasing me or pulling me along. But, it has now been 4 months now. she wrote the apology letter yesterday.

I don't think a date necessarily has to be six hours long. Maybe she's not being creative enough. Tell her you want to take her for an ice cream or something, a 20-minute date.

Well, the last date we went on was a blast. I did get butterflies. And I think she did to....Thanks for the info up above everybody. The things is I don't want to take her for an ice cream or coffee.
Right now, she is 47 and i am 44. She is still attractive and she has told me that she has had it with guys.
