There's some truth to what you say, but I'd hardly apply that generalization to the lot of them. Both my girlfriend and I are very hesitant at the idea of kids. Children definitely would not be my motivation for marriage.

I was watching the Discovery Channel last night, it had a special on Attraction and Sex for humans.. it got me and my date both incredibly turned-on; wasn't nearly as good as the special on tv..

Anyway.. the part that interested me the most (more than orgasms) was the sexual nature of women.. In every other animal on the planet, women only mate when they are "in season", while males are attracted to females "in season".. Not the case with humans.. women have a strong sexual urge when in season, when not, when pregnant, and even when infertile.. basically all the time..

This transformation.. set humans apart from the animals, and set the way for offspring to flourish.. In other primates, the female was left alone, taking care of the child while the male ran off to other females.. However, human children were more fragile.. they required the care of both parents to stand a chance for survival.. early humans devised a system to deal with an ancient dilema other primates faced.. they called it.. marriage.. but mother nature had its own solution.. the human pair bond had found it's new super-glue.. the female orgasm.. motivated by strong sexual desire, and a reward from the pleasure center of the brain (lymbic cortex) up to 8 time more powerful than the male orgasm.. human females were able to sustain a powerful bair bond long after childbirth..

The rest was about orgasms and what the brain looks like during one.. but you can see why the part I remembered was a little more interesting.. evolution is amazing.. blows me away.. it offers such perfect solutions to every problem.. (except for Republicans)

Maybe it has something to do with the confidence. A woman who can stand on her own two feet will probably be more confident about herself. Confidence also links to how sexy she feels (how may not be as self-conscious of her imperfections).

Don't you ladies think that feeling sexy gives you better mood to have sex and thus enjoy it more?

Or maybe green space men for a few bucks feed her orgasms from space mentally but it only works on educated minds. My point was that they didn't give reasons. We can assume whatever. Where is the evidence behind this experiment? Surveys don't mean shit and usually neither do statistics .

I'm afraid you can't do experiments in this case. In most cases, it will be impossible to perform any experiments on anything based on a human feeling. Thus, only surveys/interviews can give us any insight. Ok, so I know you don't believe in the education/career/money bit, but certainly some people do. Sometimes we just need to figure out where we stand on this topic can find reasons for ourselves.

Precisely. Likewise for that article that GS mentions that I asked for the link for (I want it for its amusement factor, not b/c I think the data is real). That was for men, this one for women. Thank you for being the only one to 'get' this.

OV, I'm just worried for you in using some of the stuff GS mentions. A lot of it reeks of misrepresentation & manipulation & outright meanness. I just don't see how all these superficial Psych games get you to that place w/someone who has any depth to them.

The reason this stuff seems superficial to me is that it may only 'get your foot in the door' and only with a certain type of woman (often shallow sounding, based on GS examples anyway). This has some value I suppose, for gaining experience, but it won't work women who keep their 'interest buttons' in a non-standard location (my experience from college & I found this stuff incredibly boring & trivial to figure). And I have a feeling that the type of girl you might to settle on won't be found in a bar. Have you considered that GS posts this stuff so that guys like you end up looking like assholes & he can move in to look like a 'nice guy', in comparison? Just an alternative hypothesis to consider. Nothing I've ever seen from GS explains how to develop a solid LTR & all his posts seem to do w/the bar scene. Not exactly a prime technique for a guy who will be bored to tears by anyone w/an IQ under 130 who won't primarily be found trolling in bars.

GS will have a motive in posting all this stuff. I doubt its to help his fellow man 'get the girl', so figure that out before you take all this too much to heart. And find out how many of these guys who use this technique actually end up happily married (if that's your ultimate goal).
