What you ladies think about profession?

I really don't care for men who present themselves as "professionals". I'm not sure why, but hunger for money and power are a huge turnoff for me. Which is too bad, because I wouldn't mind having more money than I do.
I guess the answer to your question is, it depends on the individual, as with anything.
If I were a guy, I would not want to even think about dating someone who placed so much emphasis on my profession, or lack thereof.
Intelligence and some sort of motivation in life are, however, a must.

While I've heard women desire a man of one type of profession, or no profession at all, so long as he's gorgeous, the above has been my experience for the most part.
