However, I also think a child deserves the best start in life they can get, which IMO is two parents that want them. Adoption could provide this.

If I were in her position, I'd change the course of my life and have that baby. I'd probably keep it, too, and make sure the father signed away all rights to it in a legally binding document. If that simply couldn't work, I'd give it up.
I think she's too old to use abortion as birth control. I'd be a lot more conflicted about that if she were in high school or something, but she isn't. A 23-year-old is an adult.

Tell them to do their job & they are as like to cry as to get down to business. Esp the one's still at home. 23 these days is NOT the same 23 as when we were young. Not all (no offense to those this age), some are mature but much fewer than previous generations. We were just discussing this w/a gal who also teaches at the local college over dinner last week.
