Now that I think about it, that could be the meanest thing I ever did to a significant other. I should post it in Giga's thread.
Seriously, I think you are too young to make a decision like that, and I don't think you would find many urologists who would do it for you.
I don't know what you mean by how it might affect volume, though. Are you talking about semen? Because that is unaffected.

| | | I know they snip the vas deferens for a vasectomy. Wouldn't this reduce sperm count? If so, how does it affect total ejaculatory volume? Did your husband notice any difference before and after? | |

Did your husband notice any difference before and after? The only differences were positive. We have sex with absolutely no fear of pregnancy. Physiologically, everything still works the same except that sperm are not exiting his body, and the procedure is REALLY no big deal. My husband is not particularly macho, and he did it twice with no whining. It is much less painful than an unplanned pregnancy, particularly if you have a partner who would not consider abortion.
On the other hand, a reversal IS a big deal, and there is a LOT of pain and severe bruising associated, and of course, no guarantee that it will work.
Yes, my husband loves me.

I guess the moral of the story is to make sure your neighbor has been snipped, too!

| | | I was just discussing with my friend how much it would suck if I were sterile.
I intend on making a few more Choi's before my time is up.
Hopefully it won't be up any time soon...
