ok so me and my bf have been going out for over a month now and i really like him. however, im kinda wishing he was like the guy who was trying to win my affection (he surprised me w/ flowers for my bday, used to text me cute flirty text mssgs, etc.).

but now im just feeling as tho weve regressed. like i know he still likes me a lot but sometimes i wonder if he knows how to be a bf or if he knows what girls like. cuz it seems like we just tease each other a bunch and hes always trying to make me laugh but were not really physical...i mean we kiss when we say goodbye and stuff. but sometimes i just wanna cuddle and hear him say cute things and stuff yknow? i mean we text like everyday but now im kinda getting bored with txting

idk any suggestions? i still really like him i just feel a lil unsatisfied i guess. hes my first bf and im his first gf but sometimes im scared that we dont really act like it.

Do you expect him to BUY you stuff all the time? You sound young, which probably means he's poor. Do you surprise him with stuff all the time? If not, then don't expect the same thing. I see it as every once in a while something to surprise someone is nice, but when it's all the time it's not as special. Plus you've only been together for a month, are you expecting him to do this on a daily basis? If so, that's a lot to ask for.

Okay, first of all, there is no "knows how to be a boyfriend" or "doesn't know how to be a boyfriend." All a boyfriend is is a guy you are in a relationship. You're trying to say he doesn't know how to live up to your expectations of a boyfriend.
Second, don't be sexist. It is nearly impossible to know what girls like. Not all girls are the same. Not all guys are the same. People don't have to fall in to society's "rules" of what a person of their gender, ethnicity, age, etc is 'supposed' to be like.
My suggestion is that you tell him how you feel. But do not try to change him. If you don't like who him for who he is then leave him alone.
