OK guys here's the question: my BF of almost two years has a best friend of almost 15 years. he has never met me but doesn't think our relationship is good. My bf will not stick up for us but the thing is both him and his friend are 5 hours away. My bf is moving here in a short time. is this friend doing this because he is afraid of loosing his friend. and why would he not like a person he has never met.
ohh and the reason his friend doesn't think our relationship will work is i have kids and my bf does not.

Who gives a hoot what his friend thinks. Is this relation between you and your b/f or you or him and his friend?
I'd say: ask your b/f to get his priorities straight and tell this friend of his to mind his own effing business instead of trying to come inbetween a relation because of penis envy or so. Who needs friends like that?

Well yes you can tell someone to mind there own business or try to figure out why a person is behaving in a particular way ( the friend) . and i have told him to get his priorities straight. you can be blunt all you want YGG it's ok.

You know, it's only as complicated as people make it.
My point here is that this friend of your boyfriend is crossing boundaries. The reasons why he does that don't matter.
The bottom line is that it's none of his business. Your relation with you boyfriend is between you and your boyfriend.
If you boyfriend allows his friend to act / behave like this, then your boyfriend may have a serious problem with setting boundaries.
Now, if that's the case, you have a problem in your relation.
In this case, it's you boyfriend who has to tell his friend to stuff a sock in it.

ok i asked him why he has not set boundaries and his response was 15 years of friendship is like that. btw a few days ago he acc. cut us off on the phone when we were talking and said it was a accident.

I have friends that go back 20 years and none of them is like that.
I wonder why?
I dunno amz, but I don't like his response. I mean, what is he afraid to lose? A friend? Friends respect boundaries.

A real friend would've seen what counts and that you make him happy and that he should not at all get involved, this is stupid, you need to set things straight, tell your boyfriend how you feel and make sure he does something about it.... people always say don't put your b/f or g/f infront of your friends, but in order to do that there shouldn't be any kind of interference, if this was my friend I'd tell him/her to get used to it or eff off... that's that, he will always know this guy longer that what he knows you, is he going to keep using that excuse... what if you two end up getting married?
If your b/f can is okay with you having two kids why can't he be... and be happy for you b/f.
