    Relationships In college

    Hello everyone,
I have a little situation in my life right now. Ill make it short,
I was going out with this girl for over a year. In September when we started back in school things got alittle tough, we go to the same school. We only saw each other about once a week and i was getting pissed cause i didnt' get to see her often. She has so much things to do for school and work that it is hard for her to put the effert in that i want to. She is the type of girl that gets stressed out really easy. So while she was stressed out her sex drive went south. She says that she needs a brake because of she cant handle this right now, and its not fair for me cause she cant give what i want. She says that i would make the perfect husband, father for her. And that she loves me and doesnt' want to be with anyone else. We have been broken up for about 3 weeks and we still talk about everyother day. She calls me and tells me that she misses me and that she loves me. I feel the same why, but its hard talking to her and not being with her.
She says that she wants us to be toghter just not right now.
What should i do, im hurt and it hurts talking to her but i don't want to stop talking to her.

i say just give it some time. there's a great saying: if you love something, let it go. if it comes back to you, it loves you too. if it doesn't come back - it was never yours in the first place (or something close to that). if she really does love you, maybe she is too busy with school. or maybe she needs some time to think things over. give her that space. if she really loves you then she'll realize what's important and throw herself into your arms.

Maybe she really is busy. My first girlfriend had TONS going on in her life. She was a great skier and went at least every other weekend somewhere (her parents also had a lot of $$$$ to send her places for the weekend), she played field hockey, was in the marching band, two basketball leagues, track, cross country, and summer basketball and softball. That's a full plate. But we made use of the time we had together.

It's hard, and it's up to you whether you are willing to wait or not. Maybe ask her how long you think it'd be. I've been without a girlfriend for two and half years. If you think you can wait however long it is until she's ready to get back together, then wait. Maybe she's worth it. If she's not worth it (I'm not saying anything, I just don't know what you are thinking), and you don't feel you can wait that long to be back together, tell her you want to remain friends but tell her you can't wait that long. Undoubtedly she'll begin to cry but that's something you'll have to take into account.
