| | | How Do I Shake This Off...?! My Girlfriend Broke Up With Me A Little Over 4 Weeks Ago, Claiming That She Just Wanted To Give It Time, Because She Didnt Know What She Wanted Right Now, So That's Exactly What I Did, I Let Her Have Time, I Was Totally Crazy For Her, So It Hurt To See Her Go, Even If It Was Only A Little While. So I Finally Thought I Got Over Her. Well After 2 Weeks Of Not Even Seeing Her, I Went Out With Some Friends To A Party, And There She Was. So We Started Talking, And She Asked For A Ride Home, So I Gave Her A Ride Home, I Dropped Her Off, And Walked Her Up To Her House, And I Didnt Feel Right Leaving Her There By Herself, With Her Being Young, And The Front Door Being Broken, I Didnt Feel It Was Safe, So I Told Her And She Asked Me To Stay With Her, So That's What I Did. This Was All Friendly, We Were Not Romantic, Well Later That Night, She Goes Into The Bedroom, And Tells Me To Come With Her...We Did Not Do Anything Sexual, But She Just Said She Felt Very Comfortable In My Arms. So We Talked And I Asked Her If There Was Any Chance Of Being Together Again, And She Says Yes. So All These Emotions Come Back To Me. But The Next Day, She Cannot Remember Any Of It. And Now She Wont Talk To Me About It. And I Truly Know, That Iam Not Over It, And Dont Know How To Shake It Off...Help Plz??

| | | Get rid of her. I hate girls that play games. Why bother? There's like 3 billion girls on the planet, and a lot more available ones around your area than you would think. Find one that's not a pain in the ass.
Alexi
PS - The feelings will go away. They always do with time. Ad for future girls, learn not to even HAVE feelings for them until you know that they are compatible and straight enough for a good, worthwhile relationship. | |

| | | As long as you don't see her and don't talk to her, you should be all right. Avoid her at all costs. Even if she takes a class with you, make sure you sit somewhere in front of her, so you don't stare at the back of her head the entire time. Take alternate routes in the hallways. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

| | | Goddamn It, Can You Please Not CAPITOLIZE The First Letter Of Each Sentence, It Would Make The Read A Lot Easier And Ensure You A Higher Quality And Quantity Of Responses. The Basic Rule In Grammar Is That Only The First Word Of The Sentence Is Capitolized And Names and Countries and Months (+ Some Exceptions I Do Not Feel Like Listing Off). So, Learn To Write Without Capitolizing The First Letter And You Might Actually Get Some Advice. | |

There you go! Good boy! You figured out the rules to capitolizing... and my spelling and grammar are fine, thank you.
- My Girlfriend Broke Up With Me A Little Over 4 Weeks Ago, Claiming That She Just Wanted To Give It Time, Because She Didnt Know What She Wanted Right Now
That means she's not comfortable with the relationship. She's confused about the relationship but she's definitely not in love with you.
- So That's Exactly What I Did, I Let Her Have Time, I Was Totally Crazy For Her, So It Hurt To See Her Go, Even If It Was Only A Little While.
"Temporary break-ups" have a way of being permanent, thats the caveat. #1, learn to never just give your whole heart to a girl. It ruins the mystique of your persona and also sets you up for major heartbreak.
- So I Finally Thought I Got Over Her. Well After 2 Weeks Of Not Even Seeing Her, I Went Out With Some Friends To A Party, And There She Was. So We Started Talking
Bad move, you probably weren't over her yet and by doing this you gave yourself a new hope and reawakened the feelings that you were tring to bury. Look, for two weeks she didn't contact you, you contacted her. That means that she does not have feelings for you like you do for her.
- She Asked For A Ride Home, I Dropped Her Off, And Walked Her Up To Her House, And I Didnt Feel Right Leaving Her There By Herself, With Her Being Young, And The Front Door Being Broken, I Didnt Feel It Was Safe,
I'm sure that was part of your rationale for staying but I'm pretty ****ing sure that the other 80% was you wanting to be with her.
- So I Told Her And She Asked Me To Stay With Her, So That's What I Did. This Was All Friendly, We Were Not Romantic, Well Later That Night, She Goes Into The Bedroom, And Tells Me To Come With Her...We Did Not Do Anything Sexual, But She Just Said She Felt Very Comfortable In My Arms.
This is where she's giving you a new chance. Although she is not in love with you, she still harbors some feeling and, therefore, gives you a chance. When she asks you to come into her room, she is EXPECTING you to make a move. By saying she was comfortable in your arms she was giving you the right to touch her.
- So We Talked And I Asked Her If There Was Any Chance Of Being Together Again, And She Says Yes. So All These Emotions Come Back To Me.
When she said yes she was hinting at you that she was available for sex. This does not mean her interest in you is purely sexual, but that she does expect you to take charge. Instead, you play the Nice Guy(TM) role and fall in love. Not what she was looking for.
- But The Next Day, She Cannot Remember Any Of It. And Now She Wont Talk To Me About It. And I Truly Know, That Iam Not Over It, And Dont Know How To Shake It Off...Help Plz??
She can remember. Here's the breakdown, in all probability, she broke up with you because you were too much of a nice guy. Although, perhaps, caring, you were not exciting or stimulating enough for her to truly want to be with you. So she says she needs time (read: she breaks up with you). In a few weeks, you guys meet again and you appear different, you take a more dominant authoritative position and she is attracted to that. You stay over and she takes you into her room, where you receive 5 hints that she is attracted to you:- She asks you to stay the night.
- She invites you into her room
- She lays against you.
- She says she is comfortable in your arms.
- She says that you may get back together again.
Yet rather than taking charge and doing what she desired of you, you sat there like a good little boy and fell into the pattern that caused her to break up with you in the first place. The next day, uncomfortable with what happened, she pretends not to remember any of it and is trying to break contact with you.
There you go, now there's 3 things you need to do: 1. Forget about her. 2. Be a little more dominant. 3. Learn to use CAPs appropriately.
Cheers,
MVP

| | | Well, for two weeks, neither one of us contacted eachother. And when I saw her I walked away. But when she saw me, She came running up to me. But damn, why do girls gotta play with emotions like that, do they realize what that does? Well some girls anyway.

| | | Oh yea, not to be an ass or anything, but capitolize...wrong...capitalize. But thanks anyway for the lesson in web etiquette. In the word relationship the p should be changed to a T, who agrees?

| | | Well, we talked, and now we both know that this relationship is over. We both agree that it will be better if we just stick with a mutual understanding of being friends without actually being a couple. I dont think this will work out because of the feelings I still have towards her.
