After so many break ups still getting back together and thinking we would EVENTUALLY get married(asshole) we finally ended our hell after 10 years. It was great for the few first years, but then, med school, bla blah, I was his support through all of that, and 6 months before officially becoming a Dr. OMFG, cliche here, he found someone else. HELL I'm happy it's done and moved on, much better fishies in the sea for me....
Basically people shouldn't have to work THAT hard for a relationship to work, if so, somethings wrong, and get out!

After that break up, it took almost a year to get over it, but realize NOW after 5 years, it was no good, I clung on to the "idea" of just being with someone, it wasnt him, the idea alone.
