Today, the sun was out & I enjoyed seeing my tiny daffodils open.

Just wow.... This really brings pain into a new light... I thought I had it rough.

Man, I could not even imagine, and would probably be thinking exactly like you are. I do think you have taken one crucial step forward by coming here and opening up about your loss.

Wish there was some way I could help you man, and thank you for serving our country, without folks like you sacrificing everything I wouldn't be typing this thank you, to you right now.

Now that I'm back from Iraq, I am honorably discharged from the USMC. I'm living one day at a time and thanking my lucky stars that I made it out alive. I am working as a helicopter pilot for Life Flight @ University of Kentucky and i'm doing some work part-time with the Kentucky Air National Guard on the weekends and 2 weeks in the summer. One thing that made me smile today...I took my dog for a walk and a car load of girls from the University drove by and flashed me for some reason. I think it was some sort of sorority initiation. D

Your gratitude for my service is not necessary...the honor has been all mine to have that privilege. Your kind words and your friendship as well as the rest of the forum's is all I need. Participating here and making friends is a huge step for me, I rarely socialize. BTW, I extend an invitation to everyone here if they wish to chat with me about anything and everything, my Yahoo and AIM is posted in my profile, so feel free...I'm generally laid back in my social outlooks, I never judge, and I try to be nice to everyone. I don't know, I've found out for some reason as i am getting older, I'm getting more liberal in my outlooks. D
