I know this may sound far-fetched but you could try tanning in the sun.

okay, not necessarily a nutricious topic, but,
back when i had my hair long, i spent a lot of time fishing and being outdoors.
since i got my haircut, i have a very noticeable tanline where my old haircut was (on the back and sides) it's like an inch in width.
my friends keep poking fun at me for it, and i don't want to look like a turd when i go off to college.
i have a week to get rid of it. please throw some suggestions at me, i am about to get crazy with it.

won't that make the tanned area darker, though?
Not if you put sunblock on the tanned part.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
lilwing, a tan is the skin's way of building up protection from the sun. It will take longer for your tanned areas to get darker thus giving your untanned skin a chance to catch up. If you want to accelerate the process, you could follow vashti's advice.
