Heh heh. I think it's odd that on the rare night I don't do the horizontal bop, I usually sleep much better.

Last night, though, was back to the usual restlessness. I think it's time to see the witch doctor. Oh, and get my lazy ass to the gym.

Illusional - maybe I should start with a new screen name so you can retain your status? Giga's gonna catch up to you, too.

| | | Okay, so last night I didn't do so with the abstaining...
I did, however, tranq him with a Tylenol PM, so he would sleep soundly, so I might have a chance to sleep as well, and it worked like a charm.

He cried 3 times while watching this little girl sing "over the rainbow". He was clearly getting delirious.

| | | Avoid caffine and eating late at night. I suggest you workout daily, even walking will do some good but prefering aerobic or light weight lifting. Meditation also works. | |

| | | I have the same exact problem Giga. Fall asleep at 11, wake up at 2 or 3. Won't be able to sleep til' like 5 or 6. Which isn't very practical as I have lectures at 9, so most of the time I sleep through lectures. But the days I do manage to attend I'm useless as ****.
I tried sleeping tablets, the ones I had didn't do much. It would send me asleep quicker but I would still physically wake up in the middle of the morning. I read a good way to get asleep and shit is to make your bed look inviting. Get some new covers, extra pillows, another blanket, whatever catches the Z's. Pretty much the same thing Donut said, association. | |

Try something like Advil or Nyquil if you're that kind of person.

Kie, I suggest you read through the thing in the "Cure for Depression" thread that Mish posted. It was a link to this website that I checked out for a couple of hours and it really was worth my time.
Their explanation about where sleep fits into the cycle of depression made a lot of sense to me.
