its right beside my left tonsil. any ideas what or how this happened and is it normal? i took a deep breath and felt the inside my left ear got cooler...weird oh so weird. anyone have any ideas for me?

If possible just drop by a hospital or your family doctor ASAP.
It might become painful later if it gets infected. I Just hope its nothing serious.
