This guy gets erect when he gets hugged, gets told how perfect he is for his girl, etc. It just happens when he feels deeply passionate and close to his partner.

The hugging could just be attributed to excitement.., maybe it's his first girlfriend.., I once was friends with a guy who told us that he got hard from holding his first girlfriend's hand for the first time in a park.., whatever.., what can you do.., it happens I guess..
The feeling loved (non-physical contact) erection is normal.., again (wtf? sex is emotional for guys? aren't they just all some different animal? like a sex hungry dog or something? they have feelings? since when?).., yeah.., I think Tracey Cox said it best in both of her books (Hot Sex) & (Super Hot Sex).., "where the most basic way a guy knows how to express affection.., the "language" of his affection.., is through sex.., deep romantic feelings could boost up his sex drive more than any new sexy black dress could even dare to.., often times.., a fall in his desire for sex has little to do with personal appearance.., but with the relationship as a whole and how he feels towards you.."
Women have made me hard in all sorts of non-physical ways:
- Being competent flirts (Giga has managed to do this via online)
- Being assertive when needed.., and not allowing others to push them over
- Being aggressive and chasing after what they want
- Demonstrating that they know how to chase after what they want
- Demonstrating they are both socially intelligent and intellectual
- Showing their artistic & creative side
- Opening up and showing she's not afraid to show her emotional side
- Showing their caring & compassionate side (especially to family)
- Having interesting (factually interesting).., funny.., silly.., goofy stories
- When we conversationally click & connect (chemistry)
- Being comfortable enough to be themselves and show their silly & goofy side (shows me comfort.., trust.., connection)
- Showing tenderness & affection towards me and others (shows she would make a good mom)
- Showing genuine love towards me and others (shows she would make a good mom)
Beyond getting hard.., even if an actual errection doesn't take place.., there's this POWERFUL urge to just want to have sex with that person.., you can feel it take place inside of you.., it's a STRONG turn-on.., and when it's not just one thing happening.., but multiple things happening?.., she's getting it pretty bad when we're alone..
