Edible lubricants

My GF and I love foreplay and were talking about using edible lubricants as a part of that. We're both agree anal is out, and she certainly doesn't need it "down there". The idea is to grease each other all over and have at it, (if you will pardon the quaint euphemisms).

The problem is when we were shopping online, all that seems to be available is pricey stuff in small quantities, mostly designed for penetration. She would prefer something flavored, but we ruled out stuff like chocolate syrup or whip cream because they are too sticky and messy. She doesn't like KY because it's too "clinical" and not flavored and not really indented for consumption, although it's non-toxic.

Does anybody have any suggestions for something that we could use, that although may not be intended for sex, works well for the purposes I described and commonly available?

If you're not going to use it anywhere near her crotch anyway, then I don't see the point of using flavoured lube. Heck use whipped cream or ice cream or jam or whatever the heck you want. Just DO NOT get any sugar or glucose or.. any sweet stuff, basically, into her crotch. Yeast infections aren't sexy.

Whipped cream, ice cream, jam, chocolate syrup are all very heavy in the sugar department, which you caution against. We would prefer something less messy and easier to wash off. Perhaps lubricant was the wrong word, edible body lotion may be more what we had in mind, but a search turned up the same results, all kinda pricey and in small quantities.
