I'm gifted in a way, my body natural testosterone levels are 11% higher than the average weight training man. My doctor told me this, along with congratulations, three years ago. Because of the abundance of test., I build muscle like some kind of freak. I can't complain, and I don't get acne because of it or anything. But it's not all good, it's a trade off, because my test. levels are so high that I don't get spurts like a regular guy does. I recently started seeing a physician, and he says when a guy is doing something that makes him feel 'manly' (i.e. lifting weights, having sex, etc.) he gets large doses of test. released into his blood stream. Apparantly I get a crap load all week 'round. If you couple this having to lift and do cardio everyday, you are completely burnt out. So, when I have free time to spend intimately, the test has burnt off all week long, and all day, and I'm not aroused at all. Like I would stare at my girlfriend, foreplay, what ever, and nothing would happen. She would try to work her magic.. nothing would happen. Nothing. I have one day a week I just rest(sunday) and of course on this day I am flooded. I mean I'm the freaking terminator with a penis. This should be a good thing, you'd think I could perform well sunday, maybe make up for the other days. I can't hold it at all. I come in several minutes, and it's pathetic. My friends and I laugh about it, but it bugs me, I've worked really damned hard to control my entire body, and I can't even control my penis. What kind of rip off bum deal is that?!!
I've asked my doctor, and he says it is NOT a case of premature ejactulation. I asked what it was. He shook his head and laughed and said he thinks it's just me being incredibly horney, and that it makes sense with my test levels. Great. I wasn't amused.
I digress, the bottom line is there is nothing wrong with me, it's my life style, but I WILL NOT stop training. So this will continue, and it is nothing more than the equivelent of not getting any release for a week, mulitplied by higher than usual testerone levels. Extreme horny-ness. Heres my question; how do I cope? Again, I'm not dating right now, but I want to know. If your doctor -- ANY doctor -- laughs at you and says he THINKS it's just you being horney, however incredibly this may be, I think you should first go see a different doctor. Think of him pointing his finger at you behind your back and telling jokes about the Instant Spurt Guy to every nurse around the clinic!
If things happen as you presented them (there MUST be something true in either the way you live or the test level you've been gifted with), the problem is a lot serious than your doctor "thinks." Although the internet is full of vitamins, pills and so-called natural methods to eliminate premature ejaculation and enhance your sex life (you can test them by yourself if you're THAT credulous), I suggest Qigong and Tai Chi Chuan. Those are ancient Chinese health movements that can help you build stronger body (internally) and mind by breathing better thus promoting and controlling the flow of your vital energy.
First, read as much as you can about them so you can understand what they are all about, and if you believe practicing them would help, then find a good instructor who can guide you through.

However, with YOUR problem, don't rule out the drugs such as viagra. From what I've heard from people who use it, it works wonders. My friend also has a hard time with coming too quickly and he says viagra has worked VERY well with him. I would ask a doctor about the possibility of this drug helping you. Unfortunately, it can be costly (at around 10 dollars a pill, that's a lot of money and can add up quickly). Also, certain condoms have numbing agents or just desensatize you better. My friend recommended "her pleasure" condoms (said that with those he could last "all ****in night")
Try masterbating BEFORE having sex. Usually time to a SECOND orgasm is much longer.
And the testerone will go down with age so don't worry cause you won't be like this FOREVER. Once you hit your mid-twenties I'd assume you'll start decreasing at a normal rate and won't have this much of a problem (don't know your age so don't know how long that is from now). But still, it's something to look forward to.

FYI - weight training typically increases T levels short term, but DECREASES T levels long term, due to increases stress on the muscle and centeral nervous systems. The average 'couch potato' typically has a higher testosterone level than a natural athlete.
I'm not an Endocrinologist (nor do I play one on TV) but I'm confused why elevated T levels would result in an inablity to get an erection. True, in most men, T is releasted in spurts, typically in the early AM, and again around 3-4 PM. But, somebody using synthetic T, who has cronicly elevated T levels, similar to your case, typically walks around with a hard on 24/7. Of course, when they go off the juice, their T levels plumet because of lack of leutinizing hormone, and the testes inablity to function due to non-use. But that's another story all together.
My question is why would your condition be any different than somebody 'supplementing' with testosterone?? | |

| | Iron, I know training increases test levels. My problem is NOT chemical, I've been gifted as far as I'm concerned. My problem lies in my lifestyle! It's simply a matter of training so hard that it's burnt off towards the end of the day, and until then my schedual is PACKED! I cannot change ANYTHING in my schedual, it's that balanced. From the time I get up to the end of the day, I have work, school, corrispondance courses, homework, etc. It's just a time thing, the elevated test levels just compound the problem, because not only do I have no release on the week days (and don't tell me you get train 2 hours in the gym and then run 3-4 miles and still be interested in sex) and by the time sunday hits and I'm free, I have no way to burn off the test for that day, plus I have a week of juice built up. It's just the timing is all. I'm going to elimnate alot of questions by breaking down to the point where it's painfully simple-
-I can't have sex during the week
-I can have sex on sunday
-I'm really freaking horny on sunday
-And I can't hold my wad because of it
And I'm not sure of my exact test levels. I know I'm just under 11 percent higher than the usual. I have a professional body builder hired as my personal trainer, a physical theriapist, and a diatician (excuse all this horrible spelling.).
By the way, people who are using synthetic testosterones (He's talking about anabolics, androgens, etc.) do not nessicerily suffer a loss in testosterone when they come out of a cycle. My trainer comes out of a cycle each time with a supplement that restores the natural balance of test in his body, and he uses a supplement while cycling to keep the testicles active. Poor test production is the last of his worries, more like testical size.
And spare the FYI's, I've trained for five years now. I'd still be glad to trade pictures with you though, if you like.

| | | I've been lifting regularly for about 13 years, and have been a personal trainer for 6. Although I've never competed myself, I've trained several bodybuilders and fitness competitors for competition, as well as tailored pre-contest diets for numerous competitors.
I almost hate the term 'bodybuilding' because it conjures up images of these 'roided out freaks in Muscle Mag/Flex magazines who aren't even human anymore, let alone healthy. Give me a Frank Zane physique any day, and that is more the look I aspire to achieve. Personaly, I think the current state of 'pro bodybuilding' is a joke, those guys are freaks that are pumping rocket fuel into their veins.

| | | I work out on and off. A year on, a few months off, a few months on, a year off, it all depends on my mood. I'm sure I don't look like EITHER of you do, but I know that I'm in shape, and look a lot better than the 'average' male my age (or any age for that matter) and that's all that matters to me.
Also, I hate using supplements in general (and wouldn't even THINK of using illegal ones). Although right now I'm going to start using creatine. Just to see what happens. But I never really used any supplements at all (protein, fat burners, this or that, etc). I'm just curious as to how creatine would help me. We'll see . . .
