Yes...but there's a difference between being in a relationship and being in love, as you are aware.

Now ..I am really confused. I thought that after I felt this "infatuation" (that people call it).. then I entered into a relationship...then I went to the next step ..no? I knew the person well after that. What else is there?

You can know a person well and it doesnt necessarily mean you're in love. You can know a person well and and not even be in a relationship. We like to call those people friends.

It all sounds like an infinite loop hole with no meaning and real end. How do you know you are in love then?

i've come to think that love isn't an emotion as it's characterized. i've come to think of it as action. and that the difference between obsession with a person and love with that in obsession you cannot do things for that person. something is stopping you from doing considerate things for them or showing them affection. love is when you wash this person's underwear and cook for them. you know, stuff like that.
