    Thought I'd try this out

    Hey everyone. I'm completely new to this site and this is my first time being here. I recently got dumped by my ex, so I'm just looking for a place where I can talk, and hopefully get some advice on how to get over it. I hope someone responds; someone has to care. Well anyways, I'll do my best to keep myself updated. Bye for now.

    Do us a favor and before pouring your heart out and giving us your sob story, please please please search the forums and dumping forum for situations similair to yours... there is a wealth of great advice / insight / experiences dispersed through countless threads here on LF.. all you have to do is search for them.

    If after you've taken a good amount of your time and effort looking for your question/experience/advice and you still haven't found it... THEN post your situation. But please, help us out a bit and if it's somethin common like "My ex left me... she still contacts me... says she doesn't want to be together... but wants to be friends..." or something along those lines, we've heard it a million times, do us a favor and don't rehash.
